One Event, One Day, OneHope
OneHope is a one day music festival featuring some of Australia's top artists as well as up and comers. Hosted in Bundaberg, Queensland on June 23rd, this event aims to be relevant to our community providing entertainment for kids, youth, young adults and families. Organised by a volunteer committee with the support of the local Christian churches, this drug and alcohol free festival aims to create a fun, exciting and safe atmosphere for our patrons all backed with a positive message which is reflected in the music.
As 2012 is the first year OneHope will be run we are excited to see some big names of the Australian music industry join us including Australian idol winner and platinum album recording artist Stan Walker, Sydney based rock/pop outfit New Empire and powerful praise and worship band Citipointe Live. Supporting our headline artist are Brisbane up and comers Avery Hill and Sydney worshipers Full Hearts. Along with them there will be a lot more local and national artist ranging from funk and soul to acoustic singer songwriter. And to keep the entertainment coming on MainStage between acts is The Quiet Time Show with their crazy games and humorous video clips.
More than just the music, OneHope also features extreme sport demonstrations, a youth precinct, KidCity, cafe, artist interviews, merchandise store, stalls and more. Also represented at the festival are a number of community support and social justice organisations makeing a positive impact on the world we live in.
This event will be overflowing with engaging entertainment from the time gates open at 10AM through to when the last beats of the Dance Party fade in the Youth Precinct at 10:30PM.
